Color Choices for Rome Exterior and Interior

Elevation E

We chose for the main siding a green/gray color Irish Thistle....

The shaker (textured siding above front door on second picture) Sandy Tan...

The stone is the Tioga Ledgestone...

Both the front door and the shutter will be Dark Berry to bring out the red in the stone choice...

Inside, the kitchen cabinets, we went with a lighter cabinet (Painted Glazed Antiqued Hazelnut) to brighten up the room and a darker hardwood on the floor as a contrast...

and the New Caledonia for the granite choice.  It also has darker accents to tie in the cabinets, floors and darker hardware...

Back splash for the Kitchen...

Master Bath cabinets we went darker (Cherry Java)...

and the granite with cherry accents to bring out the cabinets...

Main floor hardwood we went a bit darker to contrast the lighter cabinets (Oak 2 and 1/4 planks)

The only area on the main floor that is carpeted is the family room and study.  We also went with the same color as the second and third floors to have a continuous flow...

The basement will have a low pile looped carpet and be a bit darker (we anticipate birthday parties and rowdy teenagers later so darker might show a few less spots ;-)

For the master bath we decided to upgrade the tile and have it throughout the shower and seat, tiled up the bathtub and also the floor.  We also chose the smaller accent tiles for the shower.

The other bathrooms in the house we went with a lighter oak cabinet and vinyl floor as opposed to pricier upgrades.  Still happy with what they will look like though!

I think this was one of the most difficult parts just because you have to imagine what everything will look like together!  I am happy with the outcome and now we just wait to see the finished product!
